Jan. 4th, 2025 01:44 amCHARACTER SUMMARY On first impression, Uly is a loafer, an opportunist, and a jack of all trades. A trust fund baby turned social media socialite, he works primarily as a fixer, drug dealer, and high class escort; however he also has a passion for ice skating and film. His dangerous secret is that he is a changeling - a faerie spirit who was ejected from the realm for whatever reason, and placed in the body of a human child. While he has no memories of his life as a fae, he retains a love of nature and natural magic, intense synaesthesia, frequent wanderlust, a tendency to make deals and contracts, and he cannot speak a direct lie.
SETTING SUMMARY Ulysses is an original character. He is from modern day 2020s Earth, and grew up in England and France, but travels internationally. His world has some small measure of fantasy to it: a pair of rival fae courts in a parallel universe that rarely bothers with or interferes in human affairs; enough roll-over aggregate magic has seeped into our world that some people can study or be affected by it, though this understanding hasn't advanced much since Crowley; and ghosts are real, including malevolent entities, in a The Conjuring universe sort of way.
